Saint Joseph’s Art Society & LO-FI OYSTER CO. present: Flore Laurentienne
Join us for an evening at the intersection of ambient synthesis, classical sounds, & oyster service featuring Québec-based experimental electronic group Flore Laurentienne in support of their latest release ‘Volume III’. Oyster service and small bites provided by Lo-Fi Oyster Co. Wine pairings available on-site.
Rooted in the Québec landscape and inspired by the vastness of the St. Lawrence River, Flore Laurentienne’s music— a harmonious blend of strings and analog synthesizers—takes us on a journey to the edge of the sublime, where we find ourselves both fragile and powerful, suspended between vulnerability and wonder.Cash bar and oysters are sold separately. Flore Laurentienne draws inspiration from contrasting worlds: the melodic clarity and counterpoint of Johann Sebastian Bach; the narrative intensity and progressive audacity of King Crimson; and the electronic minimalism of Hans-Joachim Roedelius. Laurentienne's music seeks depth rather than complexity.
Lo-Fi Oyster Co. is a Bay Area-based roving event series that merges oyster service, natural wine, and experimental music. It serves as a sensory culinary and entertainment experience, connecting local food, wine, and music communities.
